SIMmobil im September-Oktober bei der U3 Simmering

G’scheit unterwegs: Neue Wege finden

Von 6. September bis 25. Oktober 2017 machte das SIMmobil am Simmeringer Platz Halt (Ankündigung hier). Programmschwerpunkt waren die Mobilitätsprojekte von Smarter Together = Gemeinsam g‘scheiter. Unter der organisatorischer Leitung der Gebietsbetreuung Stadterneuerung GB* 3/11 wurde ein umfassendes Programm angeboten.

Ein vielfältiges Programm das gut ankam

So waren etwa an zwei Tagen MitarbeiterInnen der Wiener Stadtwerk zu Gast. Sie beantworteten den BesucherInnen Fragen rund um die neue Mobilitätstation, welche 2018 in Simmering umgesetzt wird. Neben aktuellen Informationen über den künftigen E-Bike-Verleih von Sycube, konnten BesucherInnen auch das neue E-Lastenrad begutachten, das kostenlos im GB*-Lokal ausgeborgt werden kann. Dieses ist mittlerweile gut gebucht und wird von den NutzerInnen vielseitig verwendet – sei es für die Fahrt zum Sperrmüll oder für einen Ausflug mit Kindern.

Wie schon im Frühjahr war auch im Herbst eine kostenlose Radwerkstatt Teil des SIMmobil-Programms. Profis führten ein kostenloses Radservice durch und unterstützten die BesucherInnen auch dabei kleine Mängel selbst zu beheben. Mit all diesen Angeboten wird ein wichtiger Beitrag zur umweltschonenden Mobilität geleistet.

English Summary (Englische Kurzfassung)

The SIMmobile stationed at the U3 Station Simmering

From 6th September to 25th of October 2017, the SIMmobile, the mobile information and participation lab of Smarter Together Vienna was stationed in front of the multi modal junction and metro station U3 Simmering. The programmatic emphasis was given to mobility questions . Representatives from the Vienna Lines for instance presented the Mobility Point that will be installed on site in 2018. Information on the e-bike sharing by Sycube was handed out too in order to attract future users. One could also test the new e-cargo-bike or repair its on bike. Also, different NGOs were present and used the SIMmobile as a platform. So for instance the ”Engineers without frontiers”.
